Two men grabbed my arms, I was able to kick the third one. My heart started pounding when I heard the loudest growl that I'd ever heard. I knew it was Kain. He found me. The two men that had ahold of me were ripped away, and I hit the ground. I spun around as I heard bones cracking. I thought they were shifting, but the men that Kain and Lorenzo had ahold of fell to the ground lifeless. They snapped their necks.
The fighting was over. I could see Josiah walking over to us. All four of the men he was fighting laid dead on the ground. As I looked around, I noticed we were surrounded by Lorenzo's pack members. They did come to protect us. I thought we were alone.
