Early mornings are quickly becoming my favorite time of the day. We left Texas in the middle of the night as Kain and Josiah couldn't stand the wait any longer. They were anxious to get home and check on our pack. I sipped my coffee as I looked out my window. Watching the darkness turn to light, and trying to clear my mind from yesterday's events. There was a nice cool breeze in the air that made this morning feel perfect. Like the calm before the storm. Luckily, the rest of the evening was uneventful. I got to spend time with Adelle and Adam, while the guys were all on a conference call with Joe and the counsel. They knew we were leaving early, so we said our goodbyes before we all went to bed.
