I had a hard time getting to sleep last night without Kain here. I’ve gotten used to his arms around me every night as we talked and spent time together before bed. I was out with Kate when he called Julie to let us know they arrived safe. Hopefully, I won’t miss his call today. I miss him already.
Kate can’t meet at the gym until one today, and I think Julie is still sleeping. Maybe a long run this morning will help me get my mind off Kain. I finished my cereal and cleaned up for the day. I left Julie a note letting her know I was going for a run before meeting Kate. She worries about me if she doesn't know where I am.
As I headed out the door and looked around, I realized how happy I have been lately. It was a beautiful morning. The sky was clear and the sun was shining through
