Chapter 9 Playing With The Pups

“We must be going.” Amon said as he bowed again.

“Shouldn’t you stay a couple days and make sure the pups get settled?” I say speaking for the first time since we came out.

“We can’t.” He said.

“How about just you. Lilliana is your niece after all. Plus I have a bad feeling.” I tell Amon is as the Alpha looks at me.

“Okay, I will do that if it's ok with the Alpha.” he says to me before asking the Alpha, “May I stay a couple nights please.”

“Yes, you can.” Alpha Klaus tells him. “We will get you a room ready. Will the others be staying?”

“No they need to get back to Bella’s side.”

“Very well. Maze why don’t you take the pups to the pack play ground and Freya take Lilliana with us. I wanna talk to you. Amon why don’t you and the others get something to eat before they have to go back.” Says Alpha Klaus.

“Thank you Alpha.” He says that and Amon and his buddies head to find the kitchen to get some food. 

I pick up the car seat with Lilliana in it and follow the alpha back to his office. WHen we get in there he closes the door and asks. “What do you mean you have a bad feeling?”

“I had a dream last night about Lilliana. More like a nightmare. Hope had it too.” I said as Lilliana started to cry. I pick her up and rock her back and forth. 

“What was the dream about?” He asked while watching me with the baby.

“I was in Cynthia’s hospital room sitting by the bed when there was a horrible sounding howl. 2 rouges came into the room and tried to kill Lilliana but I stopped them and fought. But lost when another larger one joined the fight. They kill the baby and Cynthia in front of me before killing me. The dream was a super realistic feeling.” I tell him. A rouge is a shapeshifter that doesn’t have a pack or clan. There are 2 kinds. The ones who are loners or their pack was killed. The other kind are uncontrollable ruthless and don’t care who they hurt.

“Is this why you had a bad feeling?”

“Yes it is.” I tell him truthfully. 

After he studies me for a moment he asks. “How do you know the baby in your dream is Lilliana?” 

“She looks exactly the same.”

“Okay, you may leave.”

I lay Lilliana in the carseat and pick it up. I bow my head and leave. I walked to the park to tell maze I was gonna go to the cabin.

“Hey Mazey.” I say sitting next to her.

“Really we’re not 5 anymore.” she grumbles at the nickname.

I just laugh at her. “Just by years Mazey.”

“What did the alpha have to say?”

“He just wanted to ask me a couple of questions. That's all.”

“Okay,” she says looking over at the kids.

“I’m gonna go to the cabin to make food. Why don’t you gather the pups and meet me there in half an hour. I walk the dirt path to the cabin. There are flowers along the path.

When I get there I go in and take Lilliana and put her into the crib that's in the living room.

“I thought you were going to go see Cynthia after the pups arrive.” Hope speaks up.

“I was going to but I’m gonna wait till tomorrow.”

After I talk to Hope I grab out 5 boxes of mac & cheese and hot dogs. I cook them up. 

By the time I get done Maze and the pups arrive. I serve them their food and then I prepare a bottle for Lilliana. I grab her out of the crib and feed her. When I get done I change her diaper. 

I sit down on the couch to watch tv as I rock her back to sleep. When she's asleep I lay her down in the crib and get up to do the dishes. Maze was outside with the kids.

By the time I got done the omega had showed up. “Can you watch the pup while I go outside?” I ask her. When she nods I head outside.

When Maze saw me she said “Tackle her,” and they ran off her and jumped on me. 

After struggling for them I asked, “have you ever seen a tiger?” They all nod their heads no. The Galaxy Pack was pretty much only a wolf pack till the Luna came along. She was a genie. Unbound by the curse to serve a master because she found her mate but it came back when he died. “Okay you guys got to let me go if you wanna see my tiger form” I told them before tickling a couple of them.

When they let me go I go into the house to take my clothes off. I shift and run out. I give each of them a turn to ride me. I run around with them knocking them over gently and running from them. I roll over and look at the sky and see it's about to get dark. I start nudging them into the house. After I get them in I go into my room and shift back into my human form.

Mindlinking Hope I say, “I’ll let you have a run soon, I promise.”

Its okay I enjoyed playing with the pups in our tiger form.” She tells me.
