I yelped as I collided with the brick wall, again. I fell to the ground but he grabbed me by my neck and slammed me against the wall. I whimper.
“Call your alpha mutt.” he growled as he choked me. “Now.”
My eyes glaze over as I mindlink the alpha. “Alpha I need help.” I managed to choke out.
“What do you need help with Cynthia,” he asked through the mindlink.
“Werecat, King Xan...” I was replying to him before I got cut off.
“Cynthia?!” He tried to mind linking me back, sounding worried.
“Did you call him mutt?” Asked Xander.
“Yes.” I could feel myself slipping into darkness from the lack of breath because Xander was still choking me. But right before I did there was a threatening growl from a huge white wolf with dark silver paws that looked like he stepped in silver mud. His tail and ears were silver tipped too. His snout looked like there was silver fire going downward. It was Alpha Klaus, more like Nick his wolf since his eyes were blue. That was all I saw before I fainted.
Alpha Klaus pov
“Alpha I need help,” I heard Cynthia choke out through the mind link
“What do you need help with Cynthia,” I asked, replying to her mindlink.
“Werecat, King Xan…” She was cut off. Which made me worry.
“Cynthia?!” I asked, sounding worried. When she didn’t reply. I got up and ran out of my office to where the guards were training. “Alex, Sara, Bowen, and Jason follow me.” I ordered.
“Yes Alpha,” they answered together, bowing their heads in submission.
I shift into my wolf and easily find Cynthia’s scent and follow it. When I got there I saw a man with his hand around her neck and her pinned against the brick wall of walmart. I smell the air to smell a werecat. At that my wolf took control of our wolf form. He let out a threatening growl. He hated outside werecats and this one was threatening a pack member. A pup at that too. Werewolves are counted as pups until their 18. Cynthia’s body goes limp.
I let out another growl as I jumped into the air and attacked him. He fell to the ground with a thump. I growl again as he shifts into a lion. His mane is black while his fur is a light tan color. He was large in size. He let out a roar and ran at me. When he jumped at me his claws extended and I dropped down so he flew over me and crashed into the ground. I growl, and jump for his throat but misses when he moves over but is able to bite his shoulder. He roars in pain. He bites my back left paw. When I yelped he took advantage of it by throwing me into the wall.
I got up and ran at him Growling. I bit his mane and pulled him over and dug my paw into his side, and my other one on his jugular, growling. I wanted him to submit. I wasn’t a fan of killing but I would kill to protect my pack, and would not hesitate if that's what had to be done.
He growled, and I put more pressure on his ribs. I could hear them breaking. I growled again as if telling him to give up or die. I bit his throat not hard enough to kill but enough to cut off his breathing. I held on until he fainted.
I shifted back to my human form and Nick gave me full control back. One of the guards tossed me a pair of pants “Take the cat to the dungeons and leave a pair of basketball shorts for him to change into when he shifts back. Keep him there. No food or water until I say so.” I tell them as I walk over to Cynthia. I checked her pulse and it was slow. She had bruises all around her neck and it was swollen.
I picked her up to bring her to the pack hospital and saw the guards had already left to take him to the dungeon.
“Doctor I need help here!” I yelled when I got there. “She stopped breathing 3 minutes ago.” I say as I lay her down on one of the beds. Wolves can go 5 minutes before brain damage will start to happen.
