I sighed and we both headed down the stairs to where Xavier was waiting. As soon as I got to the stairs, Xavier’s eyes landed on me and I felt everything around me fade away. He met me at the bottom of the steps and kissed my cheek.
“Wow, you look breathtaking”, Xavier said, and I blushed.
“Thank you. You look very handsome yourself”, I smiled.
“Thank you little bird” he smiled back. We took a few pictures and I realized Benny wasn’t there.
“Where is Benny?” I asked Xavier.
“I don’t know. I haven’t seen him since you got back. Why?” Xavier asked.
“I would like to take a picture with him and one of the three of us”, I admitted. I saw Xavier’s eyes glaze over and I knew he was mind linking Benny. Not long after, Benny showed up freshly showered.
“You look beautiful, Kiera”
