Unwanted touch

KYLE Picking up Sophia wasn’t something that brought joy to my heart — except for the fact that my desire for her was undeniable. I wouldn’t deny that I hated her; just the thought of her filled me with anger. Her obsession had ruined the most beautiful relationship I’d ever had. But putting that aside, her presence stirred something in me. “Heeeeeyyyy, Kyle…” she squealed excitedly when she saw me, running toward me for a hug which I completely ignored. “Hey, Soph… welcome,” I said sarcastically as I helped load her bags into my car. She grabbed my hand to get my attention. I stopped but didn’t turn toward her. “Kyle, stop being cold,” she begged innocently. But I knew better. I scoffed as I finished placing the bags in the car, then climbed in and waited for her to get in. She was silent for a while after settling in but I knew this silence wouldn’t last. “So, Kyle… uhmm… where are your guards?” she asked, taking a selfie. I wished she’d just focus on her phone so I could have some peace. I remained silent, but Sophia being Sophia continued, “So where are we going? Are we heading home, or are you taking me shopping? Or clubbing? Or for lunch?” I chuckled a bit at her relentless energy. “Kyle, stop being rude to me. It’s been six months now since Ashley died…” she began. Before she could finish, I immediately stopped the car and gave her a sharp glare. “Be careful what you say, Sophia. You don’t want to make me angry right now. You know what I’m capable of,” I warned her and continued driving. She knew she’d angered me but soon tried to ease it. She reached over, trying to get my attention again, her touch causing a familiar reaction in me. I struggled to remain composed. Eventually, I pulled the car over as I let her get on top of me and ride me, I let the intensity take over between us until my release. --- Later, when we arrived, Sophia ran up excitedly. “Aunt Meghan!!!” Sophia squealed as she hugged Meghan, who was equally happy to see her. I ignored them and headed to my room for a warm bath, wanting to wash off the tension from earlier. “Wow! What’s up with him?” Meghan asked as we headed to the bar for drinks. “Old feelings… and old pain,” Sophia replied while grabbing a drink. They enjoyed their drinks and later went to bed. Sophia and I had lived here before I left six months ago for training partly an excuse to run from my past. During that time, she traveled the world and now we were back, preparing to start school again. Sunday had been shopping day; school was to begin on Monday. “Sophia, there’s something you should know,” I said during breakfast the next morning. “Say what you want, Kyle,” she replied casually. She already assumed I was telling her she wouldn’t be given any special privileges and she was right. After breakfast, I grabbed my car keys, phone, and backpack and headed to school, followed by Sophia and our two bodyguards, Mia and Ryan….
