The amount of worry equals the one of joy I can see on his face everyday. It has been a bit of a learning curve to get to cooperate, but the last four months have been rather enjoyable. As per Thomas’s request, my doctor appointments were carefully scheduled so I would never have to go alone. He had always insisted to come with me, even if he refused to come in the room during the checkup. He would always wait right by the door, like a guard dog.
