Sleep came easy. I still hadn’t forgiven Silas for what he did, but eventually through the night, I got off the floor and slept on the couch, refusing to get into the bed with them. Halfway through the night though, I woke to my temperature rising, my skin burning and my clothes feeling like they were suffocating me.
