My mind is a mess, those images from Julian keeps flashing before my eyes. Our babies, a boy and a girl. The war, the death of our loved ones and finally my death. I need to talk to Celeste again, I need her to tell me what's going on!
My body feels heavy and I try to lift my arm but it's stuck. I open my eyes and all I see at first, is darkness. I can hear a soft snoring and I know it's Nathan. I look down on my arm and see his beautiful sleeping face lying on my right side. I try to wiggle out of his strong hold and go to the bathroom but I fail. His head shoots up with impressive speed and he looks into my eyes. His groggy eyes takes a second to focus but when they do, he crashes his lips onto mine. He sigh against my lips and I can feel his relief through the bond.
