Chapter 46

883 Words

Leas POV I'm lying in my bed and looking out the big window. Birds is singing and the sun casts its warmth into our bedroom. The curtains is usually closed but the maid left them open this morning. I want to be in the darkness. I don't want to listen to all the happy birds outside. I feel empty inside, my life has lost its purpose. The door opens and closes. I already know who it is but I don't want anyone right now. My life is ruined. We lost our little girl and we lost Hazel. Tears run down my cheek once again and I sob. Nathan rubs my back and I turn around and hug him. He starts to purr, but it doesn't affect me the way it used to. "I know, baby. I know." He whispers and I cling myself to him like he's the air I'm breathing. It's been two months and I haven't left my room since.
