Lisa held the glass there for several seconds, but Kenneth didn't move. He said nothing, and the entire table slowly fell into an awkward silence. Something in me softened, and I stepped in to smooth things over. "Mr. Fuentes has work tomorrow. He really shouldn't drink too much..." I meant to leave it there, but Lisa clearly had no idea when to stop. The second I spoke, she decided I was the easier target. "I didn't realize a secretary got to make decisions for Mr. Fuentes."
