"Good morning, Amy."
Chloe said as Amy arrived at the office. Amy beamed.
"How was your weekend?"
Chloe flinches at the thought of Mrs. Jones.
"It was like any other weekend," Chloe responded. Amy took her seat, and they resumed work, forgetting all about the last weekend.
Chloe gathered some paperwork for Logan.
She was taken aback when she didn't see him in his office.His masculine presence was absent. Chloe twisted in Amy's direction.
"Where is Mr. Ford?"
"Oh, I am sorry. I failed to inform you that he would be working from home today. All files needed to be delivered to him should be sent in an email."
"Ok"
The next day and the day after that, Logan worked from home.
Chloe missed his presence and the sarcastic answers he gave to the executives.
"I will be back," Amy said
