Rhiannon POV When I woke the next morning, the sun was already spilling through the curtains. But that wasn’t what baffled me. My whole body ached like I had run a marathon overnight. And no, I wasn’t exaggerating. Every movement felt heavy, like my limbs weren’t mine anymore. My body refused to cooperate, wanting to go back to sleep even when all I wanted to do was stand up.
