Rhia’s POV I had been staring at my iPad for so long that the lines were starting to blur, my vision turning unfocused, but it was the ceaseless growl of my stomach, louder this time, that had me press my lips together, adjusting the Apple pencil in my grip like that would silence it. “I’ll get something to eat after this part,” I muttered. Even I know that was a lie. For over an hour, I had been repeating the same sentence, ignoring the grumble of my stomach.
