NARA'S POV When he pulled away, I was breathless. Literally. My forehead was pressed against his, our noses touching, and I was dangerously close to climbing on top of him if he didn’t say something soon. “I want to sleep with you,” he murmured, his voice low and husky. I grinned, heart thudding. “Well, you need to get better first if you want to survive that experience.” He chuckled. “Guess I better take my painkillers religiously and get some damn rest then.” I laughed, covering my face with my hands. “You’re so stupid. I swear to God.” But deep down? I really did love him. Even if he was annoying. Even if his past was a Greek tragedy wrapped in bad decisions. Even if his future was hanging on threads. He was mine. And I wasn’t letting him go. This time, I didn’t hold back.
