Nick POV Before I could get another word out, she hurled the damn wine bottle straight at me. I dove. Literally dove, like some action hero in a low-budget movie, just so it wouldn’t smash into my skull. The bottle hit the wall behind me and shattered into a thousand tiny, angry pieces. Glass rained down, sparkling in the dim light like deadly little stars. “Jesus Christ!” I yelled, hitting the floor, both hands over my head, heart slamming in my chest. “Have you gone crazy?!” But she wasn’t done.
