NICK I drove to the beach like a goddamn maniac. Tires screeching, radio blasting some angry rock song I didn’t even like — it just felt right for my mood. Furious didn’t even cover it. I was livid. The kind of mad that made my eye twitch anytime Nara’s image flashed in my head. And it wasn’t the good kind of flash, like when you accidentally picture someone naked.
