Zachary exclaims as we both settle in his study. The atmosphere feels heavier than usual and there is not even a single hint of smile on our faces. It feels even saying a single word is a crime.
“What did she say?” I said in a small voice.
“As usual, the media has been trying to get answers from both CVS and Metro Crown. Both have been getting calls from reporters almost every hour to get statements. That is why we need to talk.” He looks at me with a serious face. “She said that it’s better if we both talked about it first before she steps in.”
