I stare into the invitation card placed on the table with many thoughts in mind. As being part of the business world, we often get invited by the Cuevas’ host parties along with my brother before but this is the very first time in my life that I actually received an invitation for Zach’s birthday. We weren’t really that close back then for me to actually receive one anyway… but it doesn’t mean we are close now.
There is a lot at stake whatever it is I decide at the end. If I attend his party, the chances for me to meet his family and close friends will be higher, and I am already admitting that we are closer now.
