Chapter 9

Gavin's POV

Everything's been like a rollercoaster ride. My mate has sneaked out of the party, she just mind linked Dan that she's going home to rest. To be honest I didn't like it when she was avoiding me or sneaked out of the party. I wanted to talk to her, I know I may not have a good impression in her eyes because she saw me making out with someone who is not her and my reputation as a playboy doesn't do any good. I really want to go to Dan's house to talk to her but I decided against it. I will talk to her tomorrow, I remember Dan saying she trains every morning so I'll join her tomorrow. I wanted my mate to be beautiful and capable of being my Luna, she fits every criteria I set for my mate and more. She is an Alpha, which means we'll be very powerful together so I can't let her go

I'll have to work on getting her to trust me, once I mark her she can't resist the bond. She is so f*****g beautiful and sexy, only looking at her made me hard I wonder how amazing it would be when I claim her. How wonderful it would feel to be inside her. She would look even more beautiful moaning and screaming my name when I’m seated deep inside her making her o****m. "f**k!" I'm desperately in need of a cold shower now

I still don't agree with the idea of being tied to a single woman irrespective of how beautiful and she is, but unfortunately I would have to keep it in my pants for some time. I can't be with anyone else because she will know about it through the mate bond. But, once she is marked she will be mine forever. I'm going to f**k her every night and I'm also planning on putting my pups in her because as my mate it's her responsibility to give me an heir. Once she has my pup she wouldn't be able to leave or stay away from me. I can be with whoever I want once we are mated and she won't be able to do anything. But, even if I f**k other girls my nights are going to be only for my mate to have her under me quivering

I made my way inside the house to my room and met the chick who kissed me and created this entire mess. As soon as she saw me she came to me smirking and I noticed she has changed and she is wearing a see-through nightgown. She threw herself on me

"Baby" she moaned

"What do you want?" I asked moving her away from me and she frowned

"Who was that girl and why did you leave me there going after her" she questioned, which made me angry and I gritted my teeth to control my anger

"Listen to me carefully, you are no one to question me about anything because it's none of your business. Stay away from me and my life" I warned her

"Ohh baby I'm sorry I asked. Let's forget I said anything let me make it up to you and complete what we started. I'll make you feel good and forget about everything else. You know I'm very good at making you happy and you need a Luna like me who can make you satisfied enough to become a good Alpha" she said trying to seduce me

"You are not, never were or never will be suitable to become a Luna. Because I can't take a b***h for a Luna so scram. Get the hell out of here before I make you regret thinking you can replace my mate because you can't even stand anywhere near her" I said showing her the way to the door. And I actually mean what I said about my mate. She is beautiful, strong and innocent, that is why I decided earlier not to let her go

I made my way towards my room. I took a nice and long cold shower and pulled on a pair of boxers. I lay down on my bed thinking it's only a matter of days till I have my mate here in my room wrapped in my arms. I need to buy a gift for her tomorrow it's her birthday and I have to make an impression. Of course, she'll get everything and she only deserves the best because she is my mate and Luna. I closed my eyes and the last thing on my mind was my beautiful mate before I fell asleep

I woke up early and got ready for the training to meet my mate. I made my way to Dan's house and waited patiently for her to come out, but I didn't see her after waiting for 30 mins I thought of a way to ask Dan but I saw my mate in her room moving around. I don't know what she was doing but it seems like she's not training today which means I have to wait

I went back home, showered, got dressed and went to the mall to buy her a gift. I was looking around trying to figure out what to buy for her. Only a few shops were open as it was still early. I saw a jewellery shop and went inside, there were some beautiful pendants but it was confusing. I asked the jeweller to suggest something, he asked me a couple of questions and then he said he has something that I'll like but he needs to work on it a little. I agreed to wait for him to complete his work and he came back after 40 mins and when he showed me what he made I was amazed at how quickly he worked on it. I purchased the gift and got it packed and made my way to house and saw everyone having breakfast. I joined them for a quick bite and by the time I finished eating it was time to go

I went outside the packhouse along with my parents and saw Eliana's Lamborghini and Dan's parents Audi waiting for us. My parents took their own car while I drove my Black Land Rover. As soon as we reached I saw my mate happily and hurriedly get out of the car and three people came towards her. One older looking man about 42-45 years old and a young boy and girl about 18-19 years old they look a lot like the old man

My mate smiled and hugged the girl and giggled. By the looks of it, my mate looked like her bones are being crushed. Just then the man hugged her which made my blood boil and before I can stop I growled loudly and pulled my mate out of his embrace while everyone was laughing at us and my mate rolled her eyes at me. And as soon as Dan and Si arrived I heard more growls the man hugging my mate had Si in his arms and Dan had the girl. I later got to know that they were her family and the boy and girl were her cousins

We then sat down in the living room and spoke about us being mates. My dad wanted us to start the mating process by marking each other. My mate wasn't happy with the idea and I could feel nervousness radiating off her. She reluctantly agreed to complete the marking process today and I'm for once glad. My dad then talks about a peace treaty and my mate gave us a better idea of merging the packs another reason why I shouldn't let her go. After our discussion, we were off our rooms

"I'll show you the way to your room" she said breaking the silence

"Not required princess, we are staying in your room" I said looking at her smiling

"What? No, it's not a good idea we stay in separate rooms" she said suddenly panicking

"Princess, we have to mark each other before your Alpha ceremony, remember? That is if you want to be marked in front of everyone" I replied smirking at her

"What? No" she replied and took a deep breath

"One don't call me princess, two we are marking each other before the ceremony" she said calmly

"First I'll call you princess because you look like one and second we are staying together in your room since we mates" I replied and she sighed shaking her head

"We need to talk" she said leading me to her room

Eliana's POV

We just reached my room and as soon as the door closed Gavin wrapped his arms around me from behind. I moved out of his embrace and looked at him

"Gavin you don't have to pretend around me. I know you never wanted a mate and you were only going to look for her so you can take over your pack" I said sadly looking at him

"Eliana I'm not going to lie. Yes it's true I didn't want a mate, but when my dad said I need to take responsibilities of my actions and that starts with finding my mate. I never thought that I would feel anything when I meet my mate. But, when I saw you yesterday the only thing I could think about was you" he replied looking at me

"Gavin it's not that easy, you never wanted to settle down with one girl. How can I be sure that you will not hurt me? You know yesterday when I realized you were my mate and saw you making out with someone who wasn't me it broke my heart especially when you looked like you don't care if I was your mate" I said sitting down on my bed

"Princess I'm sorry before I realized you were my mate I saw you with Dan and I was jealous and.... " he trailed off and I looked at him like he is stupid

"You don't even know me but you still couldn't stop judging me and you want me to trust you especially after everything I heard about you?" I questioned him

"Do you want to reject me?" he questioned me with an unreadable expression on his face

"God, Gavin No! It was you who made me think that you want to reject me. I lost my parents and now I don't want to lose my mate but I don't know what to do" I sighed looking down at the ground

"Princess I know I didn't have a good impression, but I'm willing to give us a chance. Can you not look past everything and give me a chance to prove myself?" He asked softly

"Okay... Remember this is your only chance if you mess this up I don't think I would be able to trust you again. But, can we take things slow I need time before we can mate" I said nervously. He took hold of my hand nodding his head and kissing my knuckles

"I want to kiss you. May I" he asked leaning forward. I bite my lip and nodded my head and immediately he crashed his lips onto mine kissing me gently my breath caught on my throat

"Kiss me back Princess" he mumbled against my kiss and I broke away blushing

"I don't know how to kiss, I never kissed anyone before" I said shyly feeling my face heat up

"And I'm glad because that's how it's supposed to be. I'm your first and I'll be your last because you are mine" he said as his eyes darkened and I smiled shyly at his words biting my lip

"Open your mouth a little and follow my lead" he leaning forward and I nodded

He kissed me again but this is not a gentle or an innocent kiss, it was more passionate and demanding. I slightly opened my mouth and followed him our lips moving in sync. He thursted his tongue in mouth exploring every corner and pulling me incredibly close. He started kissing his way down to my jaw throat and neck. He found the spot he is going to mark kissing, nipping and sucking on it making a moan escape my lips. He then murmured against my skin while his hands were roaming around my body

"I'm going to mark you now. You ready to mark?" he asked and I breathed out a yes while placing light kisses on his neck where I'm going to mark him. He just let out a groan. I felt his elongated canines scraping my skin and felt my canines elongating both of us sunk our teeth in each other's skin together and felt our bond getting stronger. Gavin pulled me on the bed with our teeth still sunk deep in each other as he started grinding himself on me making us both groan and moan together we pulled our teeth out and licked the wound sealing the mark on each other

Gavin started placing kisses on my and jaw making his way to my lips. We kissed each other for what felt like hours. A simple kiss leading into a hot make-out session. We broke up for air and I suddenly felt exhaustion taking over and I fell asleep feeling secure in my mate's arm
