Gavin's POV
We ate lunch with the family and guests in comfortable silence with the usual chatter while my mind went back to Ana's words to Evan "You are nothing but a jerk who didn't value the most precious thing the Moon Goddess gave you". Those words kept on repeating themselves in my ears because Evan is not the only jerk, I am an even bigger jerk to not value my precious mate, she is so beautiful, so loving, caring but she is also broken inside. First, because she lost her parents in the most unexpected way and if that was not all she had the incident graved in her body through the scars the rouges gave her still she was never insecure about anything. She still trusted me, even she loved me with all the flaws I had in me that I never wanted to see, she is exactly like dad used to say
