Chapter 1

I am currently in my room getting ready for school when my aunt Rebecca called me "Ana you are going to be late for school baby girl" you see my aunt is more worried about school than me. I came back from my morning training about half an hour ago and was getting ready for school. "I'm almost done aunt Becca" I answered my aunt from my room.

I'm Eliana Marie Brooks the future Alpha of the blue moon pack. I'm staying at my aunt's house till my 18th birthday at our neighboring pack. The red moon pack, my uncle David is the beta of this pack and the reason I'm here is because 3 years ago I lost my parents in a rogue attack. I was 15 years old that time and when the rogues attacked and killed my parents they took me with them but they couldn't go too far because my father trained me to be a warrior from when I was 7 years old. He always said that I'm to take his place after him as I was his only daughter and he wanted me to become a strong Alpha like him. He always said that a true Alpha always thinks about there people first and should protect their pack even if they have to give away their life. That's what my parents did they sacrificed themselves for us and when I was taken by rogues I fought them and when they realized that they can't take me down they tried to weaken me with silver and wolfsbane and gave me numerous wounds on my back. It hurt like hell but still my wolf Elsa stood strong although she didn't have the strength because she couldn’t come forward and I couldn’t shift but she didn't let me fail and I killed the 4 rogues who killed my parents but lost all my strength after that. Our pack's beta who is my father's younger brother found me a little away from the pack borders as I couldn't make it till the pack.

That day my aunt Becca (my mother's sister) took me with her and took care of me because she thought it wasn't safe for me to stay in our pack because uncle John our Beta and dad's younger brother was taking care of the pack and his mate was already dead so there was no one left to take care of me. Aunt Becca and uncle David both loved as there own child which didn't go well with Daniel. Well, Daniel is my cousin and the future beta of the red moon pack. He is very arrogant and hates me with passion. I don't know why but we don't get along and he once tried to hurt me and ended up getting hurt himself. I'm an Alpha and I don't like anyone disrespecting me but I love my aunt a lot and I promised her that I will not hurt Daniel until he does something extremely unforgiving to which she agreed. I would have shown him his place because of his nonsensical behavior but he is my cousin and I can never do anything that hurt aunt Becca and I also love him with my heart. So I have to put up with him.

Anyways I'm only here for a week and then I won't have to put up with him, because it's my 18th birthday in less than a week and I will go back to my pack to take my responsibilities as an Alpha. Our school also ends today so I'm really happy but I'm also sad because I'll miss my aunt and uncle. I love them very much they didn't let me break when I lost my parents and I'm forever grateful to them for what they have done for me. I will also miss Dan because even though we don't get along he is my cousin brother and I love him.

I sighed because even though it's the last day I will have to put up with all the pricks at school. You see I'm a werewolf but I'm not lean or slim like other she-wolves. I'm not fat but I'm healthy and I have been this way from my childhood and I don't think I should or need to change for anyone. I'll just have to ignore them for one day. Ideally, I would have made them learn their lesson but I'm not on my pack's land so no violence. My pack is the polar opposite of this pack because everyone absolutely loves and adores me there and we don't look at people differently basis their size, colour or anything else. I have met the pack's Alpha and Luna. Alpha Blake and Luna Isabella are really good people but I don't know what's wrong with their pack. I'm grateful for them to accept me in their pack during my difficult time. Hence, I've decided that as soon as I take over as Alpha we sign a treaty to become allies and help each other in the time of need.

As for my mate. I don't know about that because I never really thought about who will be my mate but I'm sure he'll love me just like I see all other wolves love their mates. I've never had any boyfriends or I never really allowed any men near me because I truly believe that when you already have someone destined to be with you, love you, care for you, protect you from everyone. Your other half of your soul then why do you need to waste your time with others. I'm sure whoever my mate is I'm going to love him with everything and I can die for my mate, my pack and family. I'm very possessive with my things because I'm an Alpha and I don't like to share what is mine.

I make my way to the kitchen to quickly grab a bite. "Ana why do you have to spend so much time training that you have to skip your breakfast" Aunt Becca said with a frown marring her face.

I smiled and gave her a kiss on her cheek. "You know I'm to take over as the Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack in less than a week so I gotta train myself to take care of everyone"

"Ana you can still take care of everyone if you train a little less" aunt Becca said

"Nope! Now you don't have to worry today is the last of school so I can train for as long as I want"

"I really can't win with you on this now, can I?" she replied

"Nope!" I said popping the "P". She just smiled at my tactics.

"Ok... I gotta go, aunt Becca. Bye! Love you"

"Love you too baby girl" with that I ran out of the house to my car to go to school

But it doesn't seem like my lucky day today, guess who thought of gracing me with their presence. Yes you're absolutely right it's none other than Daniel

Just what I needed... I know right?

"Hey, Lia" yes that's a nickname given to me by him. To be honest we weren't like tom and jerry in our childhood but ever since my parents died he says that he is jealous that I get to be the Alpha and also get all the attention from the family so he hates me for taking all the attention, but he doesn't realize that I've never asked for it

"Just what do want Dan" I asked annoyed

"Ohh come on don't be like that little one I'm your big brother" He said with his arrogant smirk. Ohh so now you remember you are my big brother. Good try Dan but I'm not buying it. He definitely wants something

"Dan I'm getting late for school you know, now what is it you need" I asked on verge of losing it

"My baby sister seems to be getting angry on his big brother now" he said with sarcasm dripping his voice and I just rolled my eyes at him

"My car has broken down and I need to visit Gav at the school so I need to tag along to the school with you" see you heard him, he is only nice when he needs something

If you're wondering who Gav is, well he is Gavin the future Alpha of the red moon pack who I haven't met till now and with what I heard he is a player and has slept with almost every woman who throws themselves on him. So guess what I never intend on meeting him ever

"If you want a ride better get in or else walk yourself to school" I told him giving him a forced smile

With that, I got inside my baby (my car) which is a black Lamborghini and started my journey on the road. Well, this is going to be a long week. I sighed making my way to the school.
