She stayed close to Riley, her gaze on the shadowy figure of the demon they trailed through the mostly dark streets. They’d been following him since he’d appeared once night had fallen, in the location Bane had given them. If it wasn’t for her demon mark she would have thought the demon was human. His muscular body was clothed in regular clothes and his features were ordinary. She glanced at the sword Riley had in a scabbard on his back, not sure wandering the streets of Brisbane with weapons was a good idea.
