Aura looked away from Bane unable to face the unnerving smile any longer. “Are you still setting Bane free?”
Riley nodded. “If he’s smart he’ll take his freedom and not waste it. If not…” He shrugged, glancing in the mirror again.
Thinking it best to change the topic, Aura asked, “How far are we going?”
“A few hours. You should have a sleep while you can.” Riley glanced at her. “It’s probably going to be a long night.”
She turned in her seat to look at Bane. “How many demons does Curtis have?”
“He had planned to resummon those you sent back, but Feud demanded he help him with the hunter.” Bane nodded towards Riley. “He’ll call them back tonight and you’ll need to face them all again.”
“How many does he have now?” Riley asked.
“Only Destruction and Feud.” Bane’s expression hardened.
