“Oh.. yes Tony!”
“f**k, yes!”
Kaitlyn's heart shattered at the sound of the soft moans coming from her boyfriend's dorm. She didn't believe it when Maya, her roommate, told her that she had seen Tony kissing another girl in front of his dorm.
But now, with every step she took, her head swelled as the weight of the betrayal dawned on her. Gulping down hard, she pushed the door open, revealing Tony and his little slut. Tony pinned her to the wall, sweat dripping down from his body as he slammed into her.
“Tony!” Kaitlyn screamed, her eyes stinging with tears.
The couple pulled away from each other, and that was when Kaitlyn saw the face of the girl. It was Felicia, her own best friend!
With widened eyes, she took a step back, her heart pounding against her chest and twisting from the betrayal. She rubbed her eyes, hoping that they were deceiving her, but when she opened them again, Felicia was still standing there.
“F.. Felicia?” Her lips quivered, tears blurring her vision. It felt like a dagger had been driven into her chest at that moment.
“What are you doing here Kaitlyn? Didn't I tell you never to visit me without calling first?” Tony questioned with furrowed eyebrows, his breaths heavy. Kaitlyn's jaw hung open.
“Really? That's all you have to say?”
“What else do you want him to say?” Felicia fired. “Tony can have as many girls as he wants, he's not all yours!”
Kaitlyn was surprised by her supposed best friend's words. “How could you do this to me?”
“I did nothing to you. Tony here has enough money to get as many girls as he wants and there's nothing you can do about it. So you better be a good little b***h and share, or you can forget about him for good. And you know what that means.” Felicia smirked, pleased with herself but Kaitlyn's blood boiled.
“You're supposed to be my best friend, you b***h!” Kaitlyn growled, charging at Felicia and punching her hard across the face. Felicia stepped back with a scream and Tony quickly pushed Kaitlyn off, glaring at her.
“Stop it or I'll end this relationship! It's not like I have anything to lose, your p***y is never wet after all.” Tony smirked and Kaitlyn's heart shattered into a million pieces.
“Fine!” Kaitlyn yelled with red eyes, even though she knew she had so much to lose. She just couldn't stand the thought of Tony cheating on her after she thought that they were so in love with each other. She loved him dearly, but he proved to be a lowlife.
“I don't want to be with you! I hate you, both of you!” She glared at Felicia who was still writhing from the punch before running out of the dorm, tears pouring from her eyes.
Tony had taken up her financial burden after they started dating. He had been responsible for her tuition fees, her rent, and most importantly, her dying mother's medication and hospital bills. She had no other means of income and she greatly regretted it.
There was no way that Tony was going to help her now, and it was bad timing because her mother's surgery was just days away. She had no idea what to do, she ended up crying in the corner of her dorm, praying for a miracle.
Hours later, Kaitlyn decided to go back home to see her mother. Her surgery was scheduled for the coming week, but Kaitlyn wasn't sure that it was going to happen. She didn't have the amount of money the doctors were asking for, and Tony wasn't there to save her again. Her mother was all she had, and her heart broke just at the thought of losing her.
With tears in her eyes, she opened her drawer to take out a few things that she'd be needing for her trip when a silver plated card caught her eye. She picked it up, her finger gently grazing over the big letters on it.
“GRAY ROBINSON.” She mouthed, suddenly recalling where she got the card from.
How could she ever forget him? The dashing and dangerously sexy billionaire that she met on her first day in college. His charismatic and carefree demeanor easily masked his very manipulative and intimidating core, leaving his prey powerless and confused.
——
Kaitlyn had just finished putting the boxes away after a stressful day of moving into her new dorm. It was her very first day in school, all thanks to her boyfriend. She might have had to wait for two extra years before going into college, but she didn't care. All she wanted to do was achieve her dream of becoming a business administrator.
She decided to have lunch at a restaurant near the school, but she was all alone as she hadn't made any friends just yet and Tony's dorm was quite far. As she ate, she couldn't help but notice the burning gaze of the man sitting opposite her. She avoided his gaze with great difficulty, but his glaring looks made it difficult.
Kaitlyn found herself in awe of the gorgeous man in front of her, but at the same time, his sinister grin made her stomach churn in uneasiness.
She was almost done eating when he suddenly got up and approached her table, taking a seat in front of her even before she could protest.
“Hey! I didn't say you could sit!” Kaitlyn fumed, her lips pursed. The handsome stranger simply scoffed, digging into his hair with his fingers, his demeanor seemingly playful.
“I didn't ask, princess.” He answered, his voice menacing and low.
“What do you want?” Kaitlyn asked with an eye roll.
“I want you.” He replied bluntly. Kaitlyn shook her head, immediately concluding that he was a creep.
“You look way too good to be this creepy. Leave me alone.” She demanded, but he leaned in instead.
“I'm not kidding, princess. I want you to be mine, and I'll pay you handsomely for your services. All you have to do is say yes.” He grinned.
Kaitlyn could not believe her ears, she stared at the man in front of her, her eyes piercing into his in utter disgust. She wanted to stand up and punch him in the face, but she had to sit back because they were in public and she did not know who he was.
“I've had enough of this.” She mumbled, getting to her feet, but he joined her, towering above her.
“Think about it, princess.”
“I have a boyfriend. Even if I don't, I'm not going to be anyone's slut!” She fired.
“Your boyfriend cannot afford the amount of money that I'm going to pay you in seven lifetimes.” He chuckled and dug his hand into his breast pocket, pulling out a silver card.
“This is my card, call me when you make up your mind.” He forced the card into her hand and then strode out of the restaurant.
Kaitlyn stood there, shocked by his audacity. She watched him leave and enter a black Maybach that was parked outside the restaurant. She muttered a curse under her breath before pushing the card into her purse and walking out of the restaurant.
——
Kaitlyn moved on the bed, several thoughts running through her head as she reluctantly picked up her phone. She didn't want to lose her mother, it would destroy her completely. She had lost her father to a gas explosion, and her two younger siblings in a violent shootout, she didn't want to lose her mother too.
Letting out a loud sigh, she dialed the number on the card, and waited with a racing heart for a response.
“Hello?” Her voice was barely above a whisper.
“Hello, who's this?”
“The girl you met a year ago, at a restaurant, Mr Robinson.” She wasn't sure if he would remember.
“Oh, how may I help you?” His tone was still the same, reeking of confidence.
“W.. well I wanted to know, does your offer still stand?”
