Not That Way
How did I get out of here? I turned blindly down another hallway, much like the first, then another and another after that. I was going around in circles, just like an escaped prisoner with no clue as to where to go and what to do on how to stay out of jail once he did get out. I forced myself to stop, my pants for air the only sound in the long, wide hallway that was just like all the others. Just getting out of that damned cell was enough, but not for long. Soon the hunt would be up. I had to get outside. But still the unanswered question was: Where was I? Still in the mountains? Or maybe another city? Hell, it could have been another country for all I knew. And if I did get out, would anyone help -
