Chapter 2

My conversation with Atty. Morales just ended. He just presented me my parents last will and testament. It says that if ever anything happens to them, everything we own will be automatically transferred to my custody.

I sat on the bed and opened the letter that my parents personally wrote me.

~ Hey, My Lady. I'm certain that by the moment you read this, they're already calling you that way, haha. Better get used to it already. I know I've already told you how proud I am, but I really think they weren't enough. Words can't express how honored I am to be your mother, and what I've become is all because you. You've change my life, darling. I really am thankful to God for giving me a chance to take care of you. No more dramas, dear. I love you more than anyone ever could. No matter how many stars would fall, even if infinity meets it's end, I'll always love you and would always be with you.

Tears escapes from my eyes as I've read every word mommy wrote.

"I love you too, mom. You know what, I feel more than honored to be your daughter. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world for having you and dad. I really don't know what I did right to have all of you. God has given me so many gifts I don't even know I deserve. " I said and hug the letter and sprawl into my bed.

Third Person's P.O.V.

"All you do is right. " Sebastian said after hearing everything Annesley said then leave.

Annesley's P.O.V

Then I remembered that dad wrote me something too.

~ I Love you. ~ Was the only thing that's written on the long sheet of paper.

"I love you too, dad. " I replied.

Mom and dad are the opposite of each other. Mom is always expressive, talkative, and adorable. She has lot of foundations and helped many children find their permanent homes. While dad don't talk a lot, handles everything in silent and a very deep person, deep as the ocean. That if you ever try reaching the bottom, you'll definitely lose your breath before doing so.

After few hour of reminiscing, I got up from my bed when I've felt hunger. I changed into my pyjamas and sleeveless shirt. I always feel comfortable in these when I'm just at home. I head to the kitchen when I've smelled something good in the dining hall.

I head there and saw lots of food on the table. It's makes me more hungry, then Sebastian showed up with one plate on each hand, and they're all my favorite. I hurriedly help him put those on the table.

"I was planning to call you, my lady. " He said but I didn't bother and just sit and started eating and he just sat on the opposite chair in front of me.

"Did you cook these? " I ask even though it's obvious that it's not him.

"No, Chef Jack and Chef Shiella did, my lady. " I nod. I noticed that he's just staring at me and not eating anything. I scoop some using my spoon and stand so that my spoon could reach his mouth.

"Try this Sebastian, open your mouth. " I said and he did. I smiled and as he chew it. I sat on my chair waiting for his reply.

" How was it?" I ask him.

"It's great, my lady. " He said.

"Yeah, Chef Jack and Chef Shiella really are good. By the way, do you know a great carpenter? I'd like to have this table extended so that we could all fit in here. " I said while still eating.

"I'll find someone. " He said without eating.

"Why aren't you eating? Aren't you hungry, don't you like the food, or...... you want me to feed you? " I ask naughtily, but he's just staring at me intently. "Are you challenging me? " I said and let out a mischievous grin. I hurriedly sat beside him, holding a spoon and fork.

" Here, say ahh..." I said holding back my laughter. And he really do and I started feeding him. I don't know why but, Sebastian and I are always like this when we're alone together. We're like so free, something.

I continue feeding him when suddenly his lips curved into a smile.

That's when I've hugged him. "Ahhh... Finally you've smiled. " I said and sat on his lap. "I've missed your smile, Sebastian. " I added with a smile plastered on my face with my hands still around his neck.

"Do you like it? " He ask and I just nod like kid.

Third Person's P.O.V

"Everything will be different from now on. " Sebastian said.

"Yeah, but I know you'll always be by my side, right? You will never leave me, right? " The girl asked and hugged him again.

'How could I possibly leave you when your like this? ' He said at the back of his mind and put his hands on Annesley's back, caressing it.

Annesley's P.O.V

I was the first one to withdraw from the hug when I remembered something.

"Oh, I forgot! " I exclaimed and took my phone out of my pocket then sat on the chair beside him.

I dialed Stephanie's number. It ringed a couple of times, then I heard her voice.

" Good afternoon, my lady. " She greeted.

"About the school I've told you...."

"It's all done, My Lady. I've also found out that the owner of the university is Carlisle Hudskin, the current CEO of EDIT, the fashion company your mother loves. " She said. So uncle Carl own it?

"Thank you, Stephanie. " I said and was about hung up when speak again.

" I forgot, the first semester will start in two days, my lady. You still need to buy your uniform. " She said.

"I understand, by the way, where are you right now? " I ask her

"In the company, My lady. Still got lots of paperworks. "

"Can you come by at the mansion for dinner? "

"Really? I would like to bring father, can I? " She begs with excitement in her voice.

"Sure." I agreed.

"Sebastian..." I called him.

"Hmmm?" He asnwered.

" Let's take a bet whether Atty. Ramon will come or not. " I said persuading him.

"He'll come. " He said while feeding himself.

"You think so? He said he'll be busy these past few days processing the documents for the transfer. Attorney never leaves his works undone. So I think he won't come. " I said while still analyzing if he'll really come or not.

"What are the stakes? " He ask and feeds me some.

" I'll eat a leafy salad if I lose. " Oh gosh! What did I just said?

"The stakes are high,huh? I can't afford to lose then. " He said.

I look at my watch and it's just 2:00 in the afternoon.

"What about the school? " He asks.

"Oh, yeah. I forgot to tell you. I found this school online and it says it's tuition free, so I got interested somewhat. What confuses me is why hasn't anyone with an average background enrolled in it when it's totally tuition fee. " I said and saw how his face shows confusions.

" So you enter the university through connections. " He concluded and yeah, he's right. "And you just enrolled there." he added and I just nod while chewing my food.

"Why? " he asks.

" To save money. " I said straight to the point.

"Your not broke. " He said.

" I know, but I don't want any of the employees loses their jobs because of lack of funds in the future. I'm not as good as dad in business, Sebastian. " I said with my head low.

He cupped my face and make me look at him.

" I know you can make it. " He said caressing my hair.

"I just really hope that I won't let you down. " I said eating my food.

" Well, it's fine to fail others somtimes, too. " He said containing his laugh.

" That was really encouraging, Sebastian. " I said sarcastically that make us both laugh.

We were interrupted when Aunt Linda suddenly entered the dining.

"Oh! There you are, my lady. " She said. "Someone's waiting for you in the living room. " She added.

I asked her who but she didn't answer.

When I've reached the living room, there's a man on one of the couch.

"Alexander..... " I called out and as he turn and face me, joy fills me up. I ran up to him and welcomed him with a tight hug.

"It's not really obvious that you've missed me. " He sarcastically said and chuckled a bit.

" I've really missed you so much, Alexander. " and tighten my grip even more. I felt his arms wrapped around me too.

" Sebastian. " He said when we both withdraw from our tight grips. Sebastian placed his hands on his chest and bowed.

"I'm sorry I didn't make it to your parents burial. Condolence. " He apologized.

"It's fine, I understand. I know your busy with your classes. " I said. He's just 20 just like Sebastian, they're 3 years older than me. Alexander and I grew up together as our parents are so close to each other, we become close as well. Then when I was 7, dad introduced Sebastian to us.

"About that..... I failed them all. " He said and scratches his head. That made me think...

"Intentional ....or not? " I ask him and he just smiled naughtily.

I wasn't shocked when Sebastian strikes him on his nape.

"Aww! Dude! " He exclaimed. "That hurts!" He said caressing it.

" I missed you too. " Sebastian replied.

" Oh! By the way, can you stay for dinner? " I ask him just to divert the topic to something else.

"Can I stay here for good? " he said with a naughty grin looking at Sebastian.

"What do you think? " I ask Sebastian.

"Seriously? Take back your question, Anne. Don't ask him. He'll never say yes. " He said with pleading eyes.

" I just need to make a call. " I said excusing myself.

"To whom? " Alexander asks.

"To tita Sandra." I said then his phone rang.

"Guess there's no need to. " He said then answered his phone and put it on loud speaker.

. "Mom?" He answered.

"Where the heck are you, Alexander Crawford?! Your professor just told me craps and your report card's in the trash! " Tita Sandra furiosly said.

"C'mon, mom. I've worked hard for two days just to fail every subject I have and you'll just throw it in the trash? I can't believe you, mom. " Alexander said.

"You dickhead!!!"

That's it and both Sebastian and I slowly leave the living room when.....

"Where are you?! " Tita ask furiously that stopped us from our track. We both eyed Alexander but the latter's just smiling from ear to ear.

"Actually...... I'm here at Annesley's mansion. "
