After getting some extra clothes I went back to the hospital. What happened all day was pretty much the same. Assisting with the treatment of emergency patients, getting some samples for lab tests, etc. I didn't have time to go up and check up on Stanley.
"Uuwi ka ngayon Xi?" Narinig kong tanong ni Mariel sa nurses' station.
Tumingin ako rito mula sa ginagawa ko.
"Hindi, nagrequest si Stanley na magstay muna ako. Baka hanggang sa madischarge na siya ako makakauwi." Tumango tango ito.
"So, kamusta naman ung daddy niya? I heard he's hot!" She leaned in from the counter and whispered. Kumikinang-kinang ang mata nito.
