Arren followed Aki as they entered the Crow clan’s perimeter. It was very different from the mansion where the Crow used to reside. This place was more… rural… where the houses were made of leaves and tree trunks. And the entire place was small as well. In her estimate, the current members of the new Crow clan would only slightly be above a hundred. So far from how vast their number was before.
Arren sighed at the thought. She looked around and saw that there’s a single house at the back that was made of brick. That must be where Elara lived. As they neared the house, Arren’s heartbeat began to quicken. She wasn’t sure if she was nervous or excited to see the interior of the place, but regardless, her pace began to quicken as well.
