I heard as Hades approached Fallon's door. I instantly snapped the wings everyone thought I'd lost in the fall back in place, and let the cold mask everyone knew fall into place. Fallon's brow furrows as she looked up at me, confusion dancing in the depths of her emerald eyes.
"We're all ready." Hades announced, his eyes flickering back and forth between us.
Fallon turned to him and smiled "Okay, thank you." She said lowly.
She looked over her shoulder at me before turning around, her eyes on the floor and shaking her head, a heavy sigh falling from her lips.
