Chapter One Hundred Two

By the time it was time for us to go I was sad. In the week I'd been in hell I'd grown to love the kingdom and its people. Most of the demons weren't that bad, though there were some that made the stories humans told sound like fairy tales. Those creatures made my skin crawl. Lucifer of course would not let me go to his prison portion of hell, which I had no arguments against in the least. I did not want to see or meet them after what I'd heard.  I used my shadows to transport both of us from hell back to my quarters in the palace. Since I had decided to spent the night alone no one was there to greet us, which I was grateful for.
