I'd been gone hours, which means I'd been gone days in my world. My men were probably going crazy. I felt through the bond and was shocked to feel they were all calm. It felt like they were still sleeping. What? Lucifer's deep laughter from beside me had me turning to him in surprise.
"What?" I asked. "I've been here hours. Time works different, a few hours is a few days in the human realm. I've missed the meeting, the kingdom needs me. What happened?"
"Calm my queen." Lucifer said soothingly, sitting up and pulling me into his arms.
