38AuraThe sound of heavy knocking awoke Aura. She opened her eyes. Her world slowly came into view, and she remembered where she was. With a swish of her hand, the crimson curtains flew open, revealing a matching sky. She grimaced as another knock sounded. “I’m up! I’m up!” The door opened quickly, and Bokah hurried in. “You didn’t come to dinner last night, and I was a little worried, so I wanted to check on you first thing . . .” He looked around the room. “Wow! You spruced this place up fast!” “It just needed some dusting,” Aura said, sitting up from the bed and standing to face him. “I’ll say. I killed hundreds of pedris last night.
