Chapter 6: Master of the Game

Ayman had risen far beyond what anyone had expected. From controlling school dynamics to manipulating business tycoons, he had proven time and again that influence was his true currency. But he wasn’t satisfied. Power was an addiction, and he wanted more. With Karim under his control, Ayman had access to resources and connections that opened doors to even more ambitious opportunities. However, he also knew that as he climbed higher, the risks increased. More powerful people were watching him now, and some wouldn’t take kindly to a newcomer disrupting their world. One of these people was Hassan, a seasoned businessman known for his ruthless tactics. Hassan had built an empire on intimidation and strategic alliances. He had heard whispers about Ayman, the young manipulator who had impressed Karim, and he was curious. One evening, Ayman received an unexpected invitation to a private meeting. The location was a luxurious rooftop restaurant overlooking the city. When he arrived, Hassan was already there, waiting with a glass of expensive whiskey in hand. “So, you’re the boy everyone’s talking about,” Hassan said, his deep voice carrying a mix of amusement and caution. “I like people who can think ahead. But I also don’t like competition.” Ayman smirked. “I don’t see myself as competition. I see myself as an asset.” Hassan leaned forward. “Is that so? And what exactly do you think you can offer me?” Ayman had anticipated this question. He had spent weeks studying Hassan’s weaknesses. He knew that despite his wealth and influence, Hassan had one major problem—his competitors were finding ways to outmaneuver him in a high-stakes real estate deal. “I know you’re struggling to secure the waterfront project,” Ayman said confidently. “Your rivals are using backdoor tactics to push you out. But I have a way to turn the tables.” Hassan raised an eyebrow. “And what makes you think I need your help?” Ayman shrugged. “Because I’ve already put certain pieces in motion. By tomorrow, one of your biggest competitors will face an unexpected scandal. Investors will panic. That’s when you step in and take control.” Hassan studied him for a long moment before finally laughing. “You’re bold. I like that. But if you’re lying to me, you’ll regret it.” Ayman wasn’t worried. He had already planted the necessary rumors, bribed the right people, and ensured that the dominoes would fall exactly as planned. By the next morning, news broke that one of Hassan’s main competitors was under investigation for fraud. Just as Ayman had predicted, the investors pulled out, and Hassan was able to swoop in and claim the deal. That evening, Hassan called Ayman. “You’re dangerous,” he said, his tone impressed. “I think we’ll be working together a lot more in the future.” Ayman had done it again. Another powerful ally secured. But he knew that the deeper he went into this world, the fewer exits there were. He wasn’t just playing a schoolyard game anymore—this was real power, with real consequences. And he was ready for it.
