Far north of where we were originally located, past a series of skyscrapers, private gardens, and small office buildings, the stage is set in a great diamond-shaped garden that’s cordoned off from the area around it and sits right below the neon spade which remains projected high above us as we prepare for another scene. The great diamond, known as the Crystal Garden, is filled with artificial grass which glows like silver blades that run the length of a field with metallic trees and a lake of neon green. Up above, a constellation in the shape of a spear runs the length of the garden, and, at the center, we take up our positions around Raiko, who’s being dressed in black tights and a grey, skeletal mask.
