As a radiant burst of energy shrieks through the air overhead and blasts through a small gathering of airships, Avodeus charges at me and points his finger toward the ground at my feet. Avodeus’ comes aglow with a scarlet light, and then a black hole opens up in the floor to reveal a crimson tentacle with a sharp blade attached to its end.
