CHAPTER 5- My Boss kissed me to calm me down?!

Author's POV

Felix saw her panicking and grew concerned about her. He crouched down at her level and took her in his embrace.

"Shhhhhh...It's okay, I pressed the emergency button already....calm down", he was patting her while drawing simple circles on her back.

Amy was sweating and breathing heavily while clutching his coat's sleeves tightly.

"Please help me sir.....P-Please...I...I'm dying....save me....p..ple...please", Amy quivered and sobbed in his embrace.

"Don't worry miss, I'm there, you'll be safe...calm down...let's take deep breaths okay."

Felix directed her to take deep breaths along with him. She was trembling and sweating badly. She held his wrists tightly and said, "Mr. Felix....I..h-have...wat...er....in...m-my purse."

He got immediately and searched for her bag. He found the water bottle and quickly attached it to her lips.

Amy felt the cold liquid pouring down her throat. He sprinkled some of the water on her face to keep her eyes open.

"Don't worry miss we will be out soon, I'm here with you."

Amy's POV

I felt better after having water but still, I was panicked and dizzy.

The lights started flickering and there was a lack of oxygen in the lift. I laid down completely on the ground not being able to carry the weight of my limbs.

"I'm feeling....dizzy......Mr...Felix.."

He held on to me tighter and cupped my face.

"Nothing will happen to you, stay strong, it's gonna be alright, we will be out soon, I called the watchman too, he's checking the lift, stay strong for few more minutes okay", he said.

I felt my eyes getting heavier and a black vision appearing in front of my eyes.

Everything seemed to be spinning and soon I felt something on my lips. Wait a minute, did my boss just kissed me? My eyes widen and I was shocked. I kept still like a rock trying to process what's happening at the moment.

Felix's POV

I saw her panicking, even though I sprinkled water on her face but still, she wasn't getting any better. I couldn't think of anything so I did what was better to calm her down. I kissed her. Her lips were soft and molded perfectly on mine, I felt like devouring her lips but I can't do this right now.

I pulled out and saw her shocked face.

"Wake up, don't faint, I heard a commotion outside we will be out soon", I said and sprinkled water on her face. She nodded and held on to me tightly.

After few minutes, I heard the watchman saying,

"Sir, we are trying to open the door so please stay still till the time, there will be a jerk before the opening of the doors."

"Okay ", I answered.

Soon there was a jerk and lights went off. The door was open and there stood watchmen and few more people.

"Hey, Miss Amy, get up, the lift is open". I said but she wasn't waking up.

I guess she slept, so I picked her up and made my way outside the door. There was an ambulance waiting for us outside the building. Soon we were in the hospital, I was completely fine but maybe Amy wasn't.

Amy's POV

I woke up in unfamiliar surroundings. My head was pounding with a sharp stinging pain across my head. I groaned and rose my head slightly to examine the room. I guess I was at the hospital, must've fainted in the lift. I saw someone coming inside the room and it was Mia.

"Hey, you alright?", she came towards me and gave me some water.

"Yeah, except I'm having this sharp headache right now, feels like it will burst into pieces", I said.

"Wait, let me call the doctor okay"

She came back with the doctor and he examined me.

"Well, Miss you are alright but I would suggest you take a rest, and about your headache, it's due to the trauma, I'll write some medicines for you so please keep taking that and if something happens then you can visit me again." the doctor said and handed Mia the receipt.

"Thank you doc", Mia said.

"The nurse will prepare the discharge papers so please sign them."

"Okay doc, Amy I'll sign the papers, you can change your clothes okay", Mia said as she followed the nurse outside.

I was soon discharged from the hospital and was given rest for 2 days from the office. I also came to know that my cold boss stayed with me that night in the hospital room. Well, that's something I didn't expect to happen. That kiss is still fresh in my mind, It's gonna be hard to face him in the office.

Tomorrow I'll be joining the office again for now I want to sleep, I'm tired of listening to Mia talking about how caring and loving Jake is.

"HEY AMY, TAKE YOUR MEDICINES BEFORE SLEEPIN", Mia said loudly from the other side of the door.

"Okay okay, Mia but you don't have to shout ", I said and took my medicines.

"Yeah but you are careless so, hehe, I love you, good night"

"Goodnight and I hate you "

I giggled and turned off the lights.
