Episode 4- I'm Claustrophobic!!

Next morning

At the breakfast Table

AMY'S POV

.....So this is what happened yesterday", I sighed as I finished speaking about yesterday.

"Amy, I know you are brave and all but what if something bad had happened and what if they all caught you?", she asked me while showing concern.

I knew she was angry that I got into such a thing but I couldn't have left that girl over there to die. As being a responsible citizen, I did what was best for me to do in that situation.

"Mia...listen to me, I know you are concerned about me and all but see I did what a responsible citizen shall have done and see I'm all fine so it's no big deal...alright", I said and took her in an embrace to hug her.

"It's okay but still promise me next time you'll call me in such a situation. You know I love you right and also we got no one for us besides each other."

"I understand Mia and I promise to be careful "

"Good, you know you are not just a random girl, you are my family member"

"I know and that's why I treat you like a sister"

"Okay okay enough of emotional drama you piece of trash, finish your food or I'll beat your pretty ass", she laughed.

"ok...Mumma", I teased her and took a bite of my toast.

"Brat", that she flicked my forehead.

TIME SKIP

"Ok Mia, see you later, byeeeee.....", I opened the door and was ready to leave when I heard her, "Wait a minute.....you dumbass....here....you forgot your ID card", she handed me the ID card.

"Thanks, Mumma"

"You dumbass, I'll put chili flakes in your smoothie", she said and showed me the spatula on her hand indicating to beat me from the balcony.

I laughed at her and made my way to the bus stop.

AT THE POLICE STATION

"Hello Inspector, I was asked here to file a complaint", I enquired. "Please wait Mam, you can sit there at the bench, you will get informed soon", the inspector said and indicated me to sit at the bench.

"Please be quick I gotta reach the office"

TIME SKIP

"Thank you Miss Brown for your assistance, it's rare to find people like you these days", the inspector thanked me, "Oh and........here........this is your phone ", he handed me the phone which I gladly took back and took my leave to the office.

AT THE OFFICE

I was working on some files to check the accounts and balances of the company when I heard the ringing of the telephone.

“Hello Miss Brown, please report at the office you are called immediately”, I ended the call and made my way towards the office. I entered the office and saw him sitting on the chair looking as intimidating as he can ever. My breath hitched seeing his dark eyes.

“Good morning Sir, you called me?”, I said and went near his table.

“Ah. Yes....miss brown, actually I wanted to share something really important with you. As you know that my secretary Ivy is leaving her job so I need a new secretary for myself, there’s a lot of stuff to handle so a secretary is important for me, so miss brown I need you to prepare the list of most capable secretaries, you got a day for this task and I need you to report me the progress and after analyzing the list I'll meet them personally and take their interview. I hope you understood and will work on this. I got high hopes, please don't disappoint me”, he said.

I was nervous because of such a huge responsibility but I smiled and said, ”I'll do my best and will find the best secretaries for you, I promise not to disappoint you.”

"Good, now you can take your leave", he said and sat on his big leather chair. I didn't hear it and was still standing there expecting him to say something. He looked at me and raised his brow.

“Yes sir?”, I asked.

“Didn't you heard what I said, I asked you to leave the office?” He raised his voice slightly.

“I'm sorry sir, I'll go.”

I took my leave and went back to my office to start working on the task. He is indeed so cold, I know I didn't hear him but he didn't have to almost shout at me.

“Such a cold-ass”, I muttered under my breath.

LUNCH BREAK

I stretched on my chair and cracked my knuckles. My back was stiff from working continuously in the same posture. I rubbed my eyes and said, “Ahhhhhh....my back hurts so much- “Wanna go have lunch with me?”, I glanced towards the direction of the voice and saw a handsome young man leaning on my desk looking at me with doe eyes.

“huh...lunch?”, I looked at him questioningly.

“Yeah, it's the lunch and you seem to be new here so wanna go have lunch?”, he said and rubbed his neck shyly.

To be honest, I kinda felt hungry too and also I didn't know anyone in this office except Jake and Mr. Wang. Just when I was about to reply my stomach growled and replied instead of me. I got embarrassed and felt my cheeks heating up.

“Looks like you are hungry......come let's go, I know a famous restaurant nearby, it's affordable and food over there is delicious.”

“O-Okay”, I stood up and grabbed my purse. On the way to the restaurant, the guy introduced himself to me. His name is Sam. We went to a Chinese restaurant and placed our orders.

Sam is a friendly guy and is literal sunshine. He is 24 years old and lives on his own with his Brother in the richest colony of the town. He's born rich though, as his father is the chairman of a company and his mother owns her fashion brand. Sam is very humble and nice, he is not like those spoilt brats who enjoy their parent's money.

He has burnt red colored wavy hair are those neatly parted and laid back. He got mesmerizing grey eyes. He is a well-built man with a sharply defined jaw and a straight anime-like nose. With that god looks he also got an amazing personality which can make any girl drool over and no wonder why his every compliment on me made me blush.

We finished our lunch and went back to the office soon. I reached my cabin and started working on my task again.

It was almost 11 by now and almost everyone left the office. I knew it was gonna be late so I already informed Mia about it. I was done preparing the list so I thought to show it to Mr. Felix before going. I took the file and went to his office. I knocked on his cabin door.

“Yes, enter” I opened the door and greeted him.

“Mr. Felix, I prepared the list you asked me to prepare, you can check that.” I kept the file on his table and went back to my spot.

“It's late now, so I'll see this at home, you shall go too”, he said continued working.

“Okay sir”, I went back to my cabin and started packing up my belongings.

After turning off the lights, I made my way towards the lift. I saw Mr. Felix coming out of his office too. He came towards me and stood beside me.

I bowed and greeted him. He nodded his head in return.

Soon the doors of the lift opened and we got inside. I pressed the ground floor button. The lift started going downwards towards the lobby.

There was an awkward silence in the air, to break that I cleared my throat. Since I had no words to say so I started humming a song.

'gosh this CEO is so boring, no wonder he is cold and single', I thought and drew a heavy sigh.

After few minutes the lift started to shake. “What's happening ?”, I panicked. And with a loud thud lift stopped.

Great, I'm stuck with my cold boss in the lift, and cherry on top I'm claustrophobic. “SHITTTTTTTT, I'M CLAUSTROPHOBIC”, I screamed.

I started panicking and my breath grew heavier. All I can see at the moment is a wall of the lift getting tighter and there's no air left for me to breathe, I started feeling dizzy.

"f**k, someone help.....help", I screamed. I banged the door with my fists.

I could sense the beads of sweat forming, I clutched my hair in my fists and sat down breathing heavily. My knees grew weak and everything appeared to get closer. I could feel the space getting smaller.
