Today’s job should be simple. I should be back in plenty of time for my date with Edge.
A client came to us because their daughter had been kidnapped by vampires for some ritual sacrifice or another. Simply a case of turn up, get the daughter back, stake the vampire, take the head, get proof of death, scatter the ashes across running water. No biggie.
Sunshine had determined where the vampire would be during the day. Not all vampires were lucky enough to be able to go outside in the sunlight, and intel said this vampire couldn’t. Hopefully, we can then sneak in whilst they’re sleeping, kill them and sneak back out again with the daughter.
That was the plan, anyway.
