Chapter 31
Sean attempted a little healing after the pizza, but it didn’t do much, so he and Chip left early Saturday morning for the library at Sean’s Guild. Dane was left alone to delete Mark’s number and write a shitty report to the Order full of nothing but claiming he took the week off to recover. He felt like s**t. He wasted the hours until Sean returned and placed a lumpy Chip into their vivarium.
“They gorged on rodents,” said Sean when he saw Dane staring. “Get your flask. We need to be near a magic well.”
Dane’s stomach soured but he didn’t object. After a week of moping and being too wary to attempt s*x, he was ready for the hunk of painful scar tissue to be gone. Sean let him pick the well and by the time they arrived Ned had appeared in the back seat.
