REN: The night felt perfect. Throughout the four years of being Alpha, King Lycan and the Elders have been on my ass about a mate, Sam snickers, “who would have known, the white wolf would be our mate?” I hear him chuckle as I run my fingers up and down her shoulder as she sleeps on me, I don’t know and I don’t care, I’m glad it’s her and not some gagging, giggling girl who won’t stop staring at me, I reply and he laughs, “like, Amelia. That Omega is annoying,” Sam replies. Don’t even mention the name, please. I chuckle as Ava finally stirs in her sleep. I look at her calmly, f**k, she was beautiful. Her soft pale skin, white snow hair, “Bro, I’m gonna give you access to what this fucker keeps saying,” Matthew Mind-links me and connects me to his, just not Christopher’s, “Matthew, I don’t care. I doubt it’s that f*****g bastard, Ren. Ava has denied every single f*****g member of my pack and even other Alpha’s on the neutral grounds, why does f*****g Ren make a difference?” I snickered, “Christopher, you’re mated to Flora. Why are you so interested in what Ava is doing or who she is mated to?” Matthew asks him. Silence, “Flora was my second chance,” I sat up, “what?” Matthew asks the questions for me, “I rejected Ava, because I thought it would be better if she didn’t involve herself in packs when she’s been scared ever since her family… i never told her,” I growled. Ava stirred again and looked at me, “what time is it?” She asks, “it’s five in the morning right now,” he smiles, “have you slept?” She asks sitting up, “I did for a good two hours, until I saw you,” “Ren is a stuck up, greedy alpha. He’s the fucker that doesn’t deserve, Ava. Period,” I hear. I bite my lip, balling up my fists, “what’s wrong? Who mind-linked you?” She asks me, “nobody, just… Matthew about finding Rogue scent in the area down the south,” I lied. She nuzzles against me, “I can’t believe I woke up and you’re still here. I really thought it was a dream,” I felt her heart pick up and she was blushing, “do you want it to be?” I ask her and she shakes her head, “mmm, here I thought I would end up being a miserable she-wolf then you came along just as I was ready to wither away,” she tells me and smiles. I lean down, cupping her face, “you’re not withering away, not while I’m around,” I admit and kiss her lips. She kisses me back and wraps her arms around my neck. “That was fast,” we hear while walking back downstairs, “what was fast?” She asks confused. I chuckle, rubbing the back of my neck, “ignore Matthew, he’s an airhead,” I growled at him, “shut up, she got tired quick, asshole,” he chuckles, looking away. We stop as Christopher with his pack is there on the other side of the table. We glared are each other as I pull, Ava’s chair next to mine. “He’s probably killing you a thousand times in his mind,” Matthew takes a sip of his water, glancing at him, “he can in his dreams, he isn’t compared to me,” Just then Ava held my hand and smiles, “you’re gorgeous, by the way,” I whisper, “mm, you’re cute. No, sexy. No, I don’t know, but you’re breath taking,” she blushes, “once we get back to my territory, I hope you know you’re not leaving my house, until…” I leaned in and I can tell she got goosebumps, “I mark you and make you mine officially,” the situation we were in, really didn’t give me the confidence to officially mark her. Once the mark was done, no other Alpha could look at her, her body will be wrapped around my scent, I needed to be in my own territory though. Especially with Christopher throwing darts at me with his eyes. He growls quietly and he looks away, kissing Flora’s cheek who smiles at him. “Christopher is one greedy ass bastard,” Matthew says, finishing his plate. Sam growled at Mathew then at Christopher. I noticed Christopher’s wolf, Damian started to growl back at da Sam, “Sam is really trying to get Damian crazy, Matthew. Don’t stir him up more, ignore the fucker…he has no right over Ava, he never did and it’s dumb if he thought she was a property and not a breathing person,” I think to Matthew, “agreed,” the rest of the time we spent at breakfast really went by peacefully. “Thank you. We’re going to make sure to tighten security around our territory, especially since we know who their target it,” I glance at Ava who had a sad expression on her face, “come on,” I hold Ava’s hand and then I feel her get pulled back, “let her at least go back with us and you can pick her up there, it seems like I already have more security than you,” it was Christopher. Him touching, Ava. It stirred Sam, the wrong way. He was at a limit and I couldn’t suppress him as he forced shift and he growled at Christopher as Christopher also shifts to Damian. “Whoa there, whoa there. Let’s turn it down a notch,” King Lycan gets in between us and I sigh, glaring still, “you’re f****d, remember that,” Matthew threatens as Christopher turns around to walk away with Flora and this pack. Ava held my hand as we were driven back to my territory, she was about to see the packhouse that rarely any She-Wolf besides the ones in my pack see. Even the ones in my pack don’t come into the packhouse. “You’re going to be okay. We both are,” she smiles T me, “I know. I just don’t like him,” I chuckle and she leans over to kiss my lips once, “I like you though. Not him,” she smiles softly and I nod, “that made me feel better,” Sam was sleeping now, since he can feel Ava’s presence. ☠︎︎ ☽ ☠︎︎ ☽ ☠︎︎ ☽ ☠︎︎ ☽ Ava’s mouth was wide open as she entered the packhouse, “it’s huge,” she says and smiles, “it’s enough to keep us busy while anything,” I shrug. The entrance had two red doors that pushes inward. The brown carpet stretched out to the stairs and it lead up. The stairs was big, it was wide. Like forming half of an hour glass. On top was a painting of the pack. Our prized possession. To the right after the entrance were two guards guarding the living room while on the other side another two guards. “alpha,” they now and I smile, “it’s good to be back,” I nod. “Is…is this our Luna?” Jeffrey asks and I nod, “yes, this is our Luna,” I introduce her. “Luna,” they all bow to her and it makes her blush, “no need. No need, call me Ava,” she smiles. That smile did something to me, especially to Sam, “gorgeous,” I whisper and she blushed even more. She’s tempting, I sigh as the door opens and out comes Layla, glaring at Ava. “Uhm, hi? I’m Ava,” Ava took her hand out to handshake Layla’s hand but she just walked away, “did I do something wrong?” Ava looked sad, “no, you didn’t. She’s just her usual self, trust me- it’s not worth it,” she nodded and I held her hand as she followed me up the stairs, “this packhouse is a house house?” I nod, “while others use them for just meetings, we made ours a place to spend the night in and stuff, we believed to be a different pack than most packs, so we had to show for it,” I admit and she smiles, “you really consider them family,” I chuckle at her words, “I do. They are family, I will protect my family,” I nod. “So.. this is my room?” She asks, “our room?” I ask and she seemed surprised, “r-really? Oh,” she was blushing, “is that okay? I can make you another room,” it hurt if she wanted to stay elsewhere, “no, no. I’m okay with the situation, we are mates. I just never spent time with someone like this,” somehow I knew what she meant. Because, I did the same. It was dinner time and before that, I needed to make an announcement and introduce Ava to them. Their Luna. I was waiting for her as the door opened and my heart was ready to explode. Seconds away from exploding, she smiles. f**k, she was mouthwatering and definitely making Sam howl loudly in my head, cool it, Sam. We can do this later, I suppressed my s****l needs for a bit. She came walking in a knee-length baby blue dress with black heels. Her hair up was in a neat bun and the wolf paw print baby blue earrings hung down her ears, helping her face shape more. She was breath-taking. “Is it too much?” She admits and I was biting my lip at her cleavage, “n-no, no,” I shake my head and she blushes. Finally a few seconds later, the pack saved me from embarrassment when the doors opened. “Thank you all for showing up, I would like to inform you… we have found our Luna,” quickly after that sentence, the room roared with cheers and excitement. It made me blush and Ava’s face was as red as a tomato, “I introduce you officially to my mate and your new Luna, Ava Lance,” she walked forward and smiled at them. The unmated males in my pack seemed to eye her in a way I do, I growled quietly, “damn pups, don’t know what isn’t theirs will never be theirs,” Sam says, they wouldn’t dare, everyone then bowed to her, “Luna,” they all said in unison. I noticed she was scared and I hold her hand, “it’s okay,” I interlock our fingers together and she then looks at me as if all the worries washed away, “I promise to become a great Luna, protect you all and love you all like my family,” the waiters and waitresses handed champagne glasses and we cheered, “to the Winter Pack and our new Luna,” I say loudly and they all cheered with us. Dinner went by smoothly. The whole time I was preparing, in my head to make Ava my dessert. “This is nice. It seems like everyone is family with each other, that brings extra strength for whatever comes our way,” she expresses, “definitely.”
