I paced back and forth in my office, angry, chugging another bottle of the vodka I had stored away, “Ren, chill out. I know she took it too far going to that side, but she was angry. I would be too if my s*x partner comes waltzing in,” Matthew explained, “I want you to grab Issac, Jeremy and Hunter and find, Lily. I don’t care anymore, she’s getting off my land,” I tell him, sitting back down in my chair as he nods, “finally, you gives us that task,” he chuckles and I was stressed.

Here I was, thinking to coming back to her welcoming me and here we go with these damn she-wolves who obviously just want the power, “I think that she is hurt you actually f****d She-Wolves and not went to go look for her,” Matthew adds.

No s**t Sherlock, I think to myself and sigh rubbing my face, “at least she is with Raven and not him,” Matthew’s ears perked up, “really? They’re hanging out?” I nod. “Group one, it’s time to switch with group two, group one. Get some rest for tomorrow morning, okay? I feel like these rogues will keep appearing little by little,” I mind-link the pack warriors, walking into mines and Ava’s room. I close the door, sighing and lays back on the bed, the bed we shared. The bed where I touched and nipped every inch of Ava’s body.

The thought of her moans in my ear made me hard and I put a pillow over my face, “calm the hell down, Ren. f**k, I need to shower,” I look at my phone making sure it was on and on loud just in case, Ava called.

I knew I should have been with her and waited for her, but no, I thought with my d**k instead of my brain and let lust take over. If I didn’t let this happen, Ava would be in my arms right now. “Damnit,” I threw the pillow on the wall and goes into the bathroom to undress, turning the hot water on. I need my muscles to relax and I needed to think. I scrub myself and shampoo and condition my hair, getting out, wrapping the towel around my waist, opening the door to the bathroom. I felt hands wrap around my neck and Lily was in front of me as she kisses my lips. I growl and get her off of me, pinning her against the wall and grips her neck, mind-linking Matthew and Issac, my Gamma, “Matthew! Issac!” she whimpers, “what’s wrong? What the hell?” I hear footsteps run towards the room and the door opens, “get her out downstairs, into the interrogation room,” I tell them. Matthew nods and glares at Lily, gripping the back of her neck and holds her arms back so she doesn’t struggle, walking towards the stairs. “Issac, I want you to secure this damn perimeter tonight, she got back in the pack-house without us knowing or smelling her, she knows how those damned rogues did it too,” I say. He nods and walks out, mind-linking the warriors on patrol tonight.

After dressing up, I grab the blanket she usually slept with puts it over me, feeling myself get instantly relaxed at her scent.

“Ren?” I hear the next morning and sat up quickly, not getting time to wake up fully, “Ava,” I say through the mind-link, “can you come over Raven’s house? I talked to Christopher already and he accepted,” I rub my eyes and bites my lip, “yeah, I’ll be there, send me the address,” I say and I get a text message from her with the address. “Bring, Matthew,” she then says, “for Raven?” I ask, “yeah, they’re both suffering, I’m changing my best friends future, just don’t tell him why he is coming,” she cuts the mind-link off, making me chuckle and gets up, quickly changing into my new blue and grey suit, fixing my tie in front of the bathroom mirror, looking at the clock. It’s already past twelve? I walk out the room, “Matthew?” I mind-link him, “what’s up?” He answers, “you’re coming with me, hurry up and get dressed,” I say, walking down the stairs, “Alpha,” Issac comes out, “yeah?” I hear the door open and close above me then seeing Matthew jog downstairs too, joining us, “Lily said that they’re getting help from a Wizard,” he bites his lip. Our faces change expression to worry, “what would a Wizard be doing helping werewolves?” Matthew asks, shocked, “Issac, call King Lycan and tell him what you found out. Matthew and I will be right back,” I motion for Matthew to follow, “yes, Alpha, Beta,” he walks upstairs, walking towards his office.

“Where are we going?” Matthew asks me, “you’ll see,” I say, not showing my smiling. “Ava, you know we can’t talk if they end up seeing each other. They haven’t bonded like we have, it’s going to get crazy,” I mind-link her, “I know, that’s why we’re going to leave them,” she says back, “okay,” I look at Matthew, “I’ll give you about, an hour top,” I say to him. He looks up his phone, “what? What do you-” he stops and he perks up. I hear his heart pick up as he sniffs the air a bit, all I was able to smell was Ava’s scent and it was intoxicating. I wanted her in my arms. Matthew looks at me, “seriously?” He grins at me and I chuckle, “it was Ava’s idea, honestly,” I shrug and we stop in front of her house.

We get out and Matthew looks up as the door opens, Raven comes out quickly, her heart beating faster, “mate,” Matthew says, “mate,” Raven’s eyes sparkled and I chuckle at how he blushed and jogged up the stairs to her.

Ava came out and patted his back, but Matthew was too focused, hugging Raven.

In seconds they both enter her house as Raven jumps on him and Ava comes to face me, “hi,” I say, “hi…come on,” she motions for me to follow her to my car.

We get in and she looks over at me, “when we’re you going to tell me about the others? I thought you waited just like me,” she says. I bite my lip and take a deep sigh, trying to figure out the right words as to not hurt her further and push her away from me. Sam was almost going crazy without any interaction from Vera.

“I was young and naive back then, Ava. I just used my Alpha power for s*x since seasons passed and my mate wasn’t showing up. Matthew is the one that knocked some sense into me which made me end up having s*x with one, Lily. It was a routine with her, but I got a call from King Lycan about the party and Sam was telling me to cut it off with her then, we could find our mate,” I explain. I can tell she was hurt by my words and I wished I could change time, “why is she coming back if you rejected her basically?”

“She wants position of Luna to be able to make every Omega female leave the pack. An Omega she-wolf was mated to her boyfriend of four years,” I nod, “I’m sorry that I kept this from you, I just didn’t want my past to affect our future,” I reach to hold her hand, those sparks that I missed for a full ten hours rose through my arm. She looks down and I lean over lifting her head up, “you’re my mate, Ava Lance. You’re the Luna of the pack, everyone accepts you as their Luna. I want you as my Luna,” I whisper and kiss her lips. I feel her tears hit my skin as I deepen the kiss, leaning more over, caressing her cheek. I wanted her to know that nobody would replace my feelings for her. Not only because of Sam, but I was also falling.

“Can you forgive me and come back? Please? I’ll do anything just to get you back,” I look at her with my most sincere eyes. I couldn’t let her go again. She nods and pecks my lips, “okay, I’ll go back with you…in one condition,” she smiles, “what?” Somehow I knew what she wanted to ask.

“What?!” Christopher was angry, looking up at Raven’s house. An hour exact later, Matthew and Raven came out her house. Raven’s body had tiny love marks on her and she was marked. Their bond finally happened. “Christopher, Raven is coming with us,” Ava says to him. Matthew pulls Raven to him and puts his arm around her shoulder, “you’re insane, she’s part of my pack,” Matthew growled, “she’s my mate. Unfortunately for you, I marked my mate so she has to come back with me,” he says. “Christopher, don’t take someone’s mate away just because you’re jealous, your pack members are leaving,” I say. Christopher doesn’t think twice about the s**t he did as he punches me. I back off and the moment I see blood, I growl and Sam force shifts. I had lost control of him.

“Sam, wait! Sam, please. Sam give Ren control,” Ava said and Sam growled at her, “we don’t want control,” Sam says and nudges her out the way, charging at Christopher who shifts as well. Sam lunges at him and grips his neck, making Him bite on Our shoulder hard as we tumble through the glass and out the pack-house, into the woods.

“Damn you,” Christopher mind-links me. Sam snarls loudly and they’re biting each other hard, I felt the pain. “You’re a lame excuse of an Alpha,” I say back. Before we can lunge at each other again, Matthew’s wolf runs out attacking Christopher and they both start snarling and biting each other, “I can’t stop him, Ren! He has complete control,” Matthew says. “Damnit, damnit,” I urged Sam forward and Sam lunged at both of them, nipping, Koda- Matthew’s wolf-in the ear hard and he whimpers backing off. Another wolf suddenly jumps in between me and Christopher, nipping at us both, “enough!” It was King Lycan’s wolf. He was much more bigger than us in size in his wolf form. We both quickly back off. All our wolves whimpering in his presence, “what’s going on?” Ava, Raven and even Flora comes running out. they each had pair of clothing for us, “they took it from my car,” I tell Matthew as Raven looks at his injuries that Christopher gave him. “Give, Ren back please? Sam. It’s okay,” Ava pets Sam, who eases up and gives me control. I shift back and land as she throws a blanket over me and takes two more throwing them at the girls who covers the guys. “f**k,” I look at the chunk of flesh coming out from my leg and Ava whimpers, “damnit, you men don’t know when to control your tempers!” Flora says, “seriously, Ren. What the f**k? Matthew too, you guys do need to control your tempers. Why?” I look at Ava’s glare and sigh, “I couldn’t control Sam, Ava. Christopher punched me,” I tell her. “What’s going on? I still haven’t heard an answer,” neither of us guys could look at King Lycan’s eyes, right now that would mean challenging him, “Christopher argued with Matthew because Matthew and Raven are mates, they completed their bond. Christopher Doesn’t want to let Raven leave his pack to be with her mate. They said some things to each other and Christopher punched Ren which led to the altercation,” Ava explains. “Christopher, we get new pack members everyday. It’s okay if someone finds their mate. Baby, this isn’t a competition, we have a rogues threatening all of us and you Alpha’s are arguing over childish games,” Flora tells Christopher. I knew her words meant for me too, “seriously. You guys need to start acting like Alpha’s if you want to compete in the future with no rogues around, threatening our packs,” Ava adds, looking at me.

Raven healed all of us with the bit of training she was already starting, “you’re right. I apologize for acting like a d**k, I would feel the same if someone kept me from Flora,” Christopher tells Matthew, “it’s fine,” Ava pushes me lightly and I sigh, “I apologize to, for saying what I said,” I put my hands in the pockets and Christopher chuckles, “we all acted like assholes honestly.”

“Now to actually talk about matters at hand, the rogues pack have surpassed your pack, Ren,” my heart dropped, “what do you mean?” I ask him confused, “his pack have reached forty members, Ren. They’re coming after your pack last, Christopher’s first then Dominic’s. Your packs are the strongest with more than twenty members, I feel like they think if they eliminate the three most powerful packs, they can eliminate the other packs and start to take over the Lycan territory,” we all worried now, “so that greedy bastard wants your position and he’s going to go through us to get to you,” he nods, sighing, “I’ve already began training more warriors, you guys need to start doing the same. I will be sending four squads of four of my members to help your warriors train, we’re going to need it,” I then remembered what Lily said, “uh, someone.. who I just kicked out of my pack said that she was able to enter with the help of a wizard… a warlock, what if they’re getting help from them?” I ask. “I’ll have to talk with the Elders about the others joining a coup that goes against all laws both human laws and underworld laws,” King Lycan nods. “Okay, all tension aside? You guys need to start working together,” King Lycan says and Christopher and I nod.

“Alpha! Beta! We need you back now! Four rogues have entered our territory and somehow they’ve eliminated half of group one,” Issac grunted through the mind-link. Matthew and I get up quickly, “what’s wrong?” King Lycan asks, “four rogues are attacking my pack, I think with the help of our wizard friends,” we all ran out, “I’ll go there with a group,” Christopher says and I nod.
