All this change felt... fantastic. I always felt special, not just because it was easy for me to stand out, be admired and obeyed, which I had taken for granted since I became aware, but because there was always a ‘something’ that seemed to tell me that no challenge would be too great for me.
When that venerable lady said I was a lycan, it confirmed what I had always suspected about myself; that even being an Alpha wouldn’t be enough.
What did surprise me, I must confess, was that Mariam was also included in this change.
And boy, did she change!
