I was in my wolf form when I returned to the pack house, and Anthony came out with a change of clothes for me.
“Dad and Leander are back,” he said while I changed, hidden in the same spot where we had received our wolves, “They don’t have good news.”
It was just as I feared.
Luna Emma and Alpha Damian were waiting for us.
“…I know it’s going to be a real challenge to free that money,” I heard Alpha Damian say as we arrived. He was speaking to a massive man, almost four feet wide and built like a truck, with long, straight, pure white hair. Just by looking at his features, I knew it was Leander’s father. “I’ll do whatever it takes to make that b***h understand that she needs to follow my orders.”
When he saw us, Luna Emma introduced us.
“Delighted,” Leander’s father said
