Anthony’s POV After a hectic day at school and barely managing to convince Tiffany to leave me alone, I was finally able to take the car and drive to Lady Hilda’s house, as I had arranged with Mariam. We needed answers for our situation, a solution that could, in passing, also resolve the pain we were going through. I arrived at the wise woman’s house with a few hours left before dusk. The images of the night I first visited that place came to mind, when we believed Lady Hilda had been killed. As I stepped out of the car, I saw that the door was open, and my first thought was that the house had been attacked again. But when I noticed the woman standing in the doorway, I realized that, in her wisdom, she already knew I would come to visit her. “I thought you would never decide to come,”
