Zoe swallowed.
“That only looks ordinary among normal couples.”
Nathaniel’s laugh rang out even louder, “We are not a normal couple.”
Zoe nodded her head, “You are indeed right, but we intend to convince the public otherwise. Isn’t it just right for me to know so much about you?”
“Ha-ha! I guess this is why they call you the great Zoe Beckett.”
“You are the only one who calls me the great Zoe Beckett.” Zoe retorted.
“That does not make it wrong.”
Zoe hid her eye-roll.
“I ---”
Ring! Ring!
Zoe’s words stopped, her eyes going to the direction of the ringing phone.
Her hand moved into her bag, grabbing her phone from inside it.
She picked up the call signaling a pause sign to Nathaniel.
“Hello, Eclipse.”
Nathaniel’s eyebrows went up, leaning forward, he whispered, “Eclipse?”
