Aria's POV When I woke up, I found myself nestled against a warm, solid chest. My heart skipped a beat as I realized it was Denderick. His blue eyes were watching me closely, a look of interest gleaming in them. I quickly pulled away, my face heating up with embarrassment. "Where’s Edward?" I asked, avoiding his gaze as I searched for my son. Denderick pointed to a spot a few feet away. "I moved him so you could sleep better." I rushed over to Edward, scooping him up and holding him close. The familiar weight of him in my arms eased the tension in my chest. Denderick’s voice brought me back to the moment.
