Damien was sad to say the least. He thought that the worst thing was to wait for Semeli to wake up. But then his world crashed down when the doctor informed them that she may not actually come back.
No one survived
The doctor's words echoed inside his head. James was whimpering wanting to be near his mate.
He took a deep breath and didn't spare a glare towards the other people outside her room. He opened the door and moved inside the hospital room where Semeli was staying. He allowed her scent to calm him down, it was so intoxicating he could drown in it.
He moved towards her and gently touched her arms with his finger. As soon as he touched her, he felt her shifting and she turned her body towards him, still sleeping soundly.
He felt his heart flutter and James howled in happiness.
