~~Raelynn's/ Sera's POV~~ Date: April 15th, 2025 I walked into the library and returned the book I read. I was looking for a new one when two men appeared, They were both handsome with silvery blonde hair, and emerald green eyes. "Hi, My name is Cassian and this is my twin brother Damien. We're volunteer Librarians today. How can we help you?" Cassian said, and I somehow had the feeling they were very familiar. "I'm just looking for a new book to read..." I mumble, shyly. Damien reached into his bag and pulled out a book entitled Raelynn. The book had a beautiful Icy blue cover, but had no author. "Also, we're doing a free giveaway. Please allow me." Cassian said, and attached a beautiful frosty blue Jade bracelet around my wrist. "I cant.. If my parents see this.. They'll think I stole it.." I said, but they were already gone. I looked around with no sign of them anywhere. I sighed and went up to the librarian on duty and asked about the volunteer Librarians. "I'm sorry, dearie. What were the names again?" Miss Loraine asked. "Cassian and Damien, Identical Twins about six foot tall, with silvery blonde hair and emerald green eyes?" I asked, curiously but Miss Loraine only shook her head. She couldn't even see the Jade bracelet on my wrist. I walked home, feeling confused, though something tugged at my soul. Once I arrived home, I made dinner for my mom and stepfather and returned to my basement room. I opened the page and started to read. Raelynn was learning embroidery with her mother, while David was learning swordsplay with their father and older brothers. "Mother...May I ask you something?" Raylnn asked, while embroidering their family crest. "What is it darling?" Her mother replied, sweetly. "Why does father and my older brothers hate me and love David more than me? Am I not related to them?" Raelynn asked, sadly. Her mother dropped her embroidery in shock. Why would her five year old daughter ask this? But she soon recieved her answer when she saw her husband and her five older sons, glaring at Raelynn. Raelynn made herself smaller, while David remained blissfully unaware and came over to Raelynn. Despite the cold treatment from her father and older brothers, she loved her twin and they remained close. David, often stuck up for her and defended her against their father. Once Raelynn finished her embroidery, she gave it to David. "For you." Reading this, it felt like I was there. I felt like Raelynn. I quickly skipped to their tenth birthday. "On David's and Raelynn's tenth birthday, the King and his family arrived. The king took one look at Raelynn and wanted her to become his future daughter in law. Her father agreed to marry her to Prince Edwin Frank Castello. She was happy but David was weary of Prince Edwin. After the party, and the twins retired for the night, they were kidnapped. The kidnappers were cruel and beat them. However, David got free of the ropes and while the kidnappers weren't paying attention, he stole one of their swords to fight them off. However, One kidnappers moved in front of Raelynn and was about to stab her, but David took it as their father and older brothers burst in. The kidnappers were harshly dealt with, while Raelynn kept asking David why. "Why? Because I love you, Raelynn. Your my twin sister and I'd do anything for you, just like I know you'd do anything for me." David said, before passing out. Their father carried David back but Raelynn walked behind slowly, still tied up. Her mother rushed over and put her forehead against David's and then looked at Raelynn, pale. shaking, and still tied up. Raelynn had rope burns from trying to stop David, but none of that mattered after David passed away....What bullshit! Why is she blamed for every- oh.. She's just like me.." I skipped ahead to the part of the book where she turned sixteen and married Prince Edwin. I was shipping them until she got pregnant with the heirs. The King and Queen were delighted, however Prince Edwin was not. One night, Raelynn was walking down the corridor heavily pregnant and saw Prince Edwin with Baron Stone's daughter Tiana. Raelynn watched the affair with a broken heart and slowly walked away. Tomorrow was Raelynn's birthday, so she was hosting a tea party. She set up the garden and made sure it was beautiful. She waited for her friends to arrive, but no one did. She asked the maids why no one showed up on her birthday. The maid looked at her with pity. "Baron Tiana is hosting a tea party as well. and everyone went there...Even.. Prince Edwin." The maid said, and left Raelynn to her own thoughts. She wrote a letter to her family and sent it by raven. She knew no one would care. She sat alone drinking tea, until Edwin and Tiana arrived in the garden. shamelessly flirting until they saw Raelynn sitting there. Raelynn was looking at them as if she knew. "Congratulations, on catering to your mistress on your pregnant wife's birthday, Your Highness." Raelynn said, coldly. Which, stunned Edwin. Raelynn was warm and always loving towards him. Raelynn turned her attention to Tiana. "Congratulations, on being a homwrecker who poisoned the crown princess and the heirs inside her belly." Raelynn had known, and coughs up blood.By the time, Edwin got his wits about him to summon the palace physical, it was too late. The twin boys inside Raelynn's belly and Raelynn had died. That was the end and I was furious. I fell asleep, thinking how unfair it was. Unaware, how true this was about to be. When I awoke, I was shocked to discover I was in a warm soft bed, and that my hands were small. I felt tiny arms tightening around me and saw a boy, my age. I realized I became Raelynn. This time, I wasnt going to beg for their love. I got dressed and went with my twin David to breakfast. I greeted the dude's family with a new coldness. "Good Morning Your Grace, and Young Masters." I said, before taking my plate and eating in the servants quarters. My five older brothers, father, and mother were stunned. I avoided them and did my lady duties and no longer greeted them. Even if I recognized Cassian and Damien and they knew I had returned home, I still avoided them. One night, while everyone was asleep, I put on my clock, thankful it wasnt the ball for our tenth birthday yet and slipped out of the manor, into the Forbidden Forest. It started to rain, but I didn't care. I never wanted to meet Prince Edwin, and walking further into the forest, I found a cave. I slipped inside and started a little fire to dry off and keep warm, unaware of the beast that lurked inside. I heard a noise and went to investigate. I found a massive black wolf with blue, silver tints. He was majestic and beautiful, and his warm ember eyes found mine. I gently offered my hand, as for some unknown reason, I felt at ease.
